Stacy Cotie

Stacy Cotie started her career in nondestructive testing (NDT) in 2003, running the office of a small startup nondestructive evaluation (NDE) company in the Houston, Texas area. Being a small business, she wore many hats, including, human resource, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, quality, operations, and production, and assisted the company in obtaining its International Organization for Standardization certification. Her career quickly advanced and is she now is in a senior management position at one of the largest NDE companies in the world, Acuren Inc. Her role consists of managing global key accounts, which includes but is not limited to, leading and communicating the strategic account planning process in which departmental financial targets, performance objectives, account management standards, and critical milestones over specific periods of time are decided upon.

Cotie joined ASNT in 2015, and quickly became engaged on a local level, as she is passionate about NDE and furthering the objectives and mission of ASNT in making the world a safer place. Currently she serves as the vice chair of the Greater Houston Section (GHASNT); chair of GHASNT membership; chair of the technical program for the 2022 International Chemical & Petroleum Industry Inspection Technology Conference, and looks forward to serving as the GHASNT chair in the upcoming fiscal year. Cotie is also active on national ASNT committees, where she has served as a voting member on the Business & Finance Committee, member of the RISE Application Review Committee, and is eager to continue learning and serving additional roles.

Having raised two responsible and successful young adults, whom she is extremely proud of, Cotie is a woman of faith who values and displays honesty and integrity in all she does. She looks forward to promoting the advancement of ASNT and being a mentor to the up-and-coming generation of members.
