ACCP Level III Examinations

Multipart Examination

Successful ACCP Level III certification candidates must complete the following four examinations:

Basic Examination

The multiple choice ACCP Level III NDT Basic exam from the ASNT NDT Level III program covers basics of 10 NDT methods, SNT-TC-1A, and ANSI/ASNT CP-189, plus materials, fabrication, and production technology.

Method Examination

These are the same method exams as in the ASNT NDT Level III certification program and are written from the topical outlines listed in SNT-TC-1A.

Update: Effective 17 July 2022, the Reference Booklet that accompanies the UT Level III examination will populate at the end of the examination when the questions that require assistance are opened.

Procedure Preparation Examination

In the procedure preparation exam, candidates prepare an NDT procedure to meet the requirements of a supplied code.

Practical Examination

ACCP Level III candidates must successfully complete a combination practical which covers all techniques within the method.
