Exam Delivery

ASNT offers computer-based testing (CBT) for all of its exams. You can conveniently schedule a computer-based exam through our partner Pearson VUE and take the exam at a Pearson VUE located near you or with one of ASNT’s Authorized Exam Centers (AECs) or National Sponsoring Organizations (NSOs). If scheduling a practical exam, you must schedule that through an AEC. See below for a complete list.

To take your exam, you must meet all requirements. Once requirements are met, login to your Pearson VUE account and select the exam center of your choice. All CBT exams are scheduled through Pearson VUE's scheduling system. For more information please see Frequently Asked Questions.

After you have been approved, you may schedule your exam at one of the following available testing centers:

• A Pearson VUE exam center – CBT only
• An ASNT Partner
  • National Sponsoring Organization (NSO) – CBT only
  • Authorized Exam Center (AEC) – CBT and Practical Exams
  • Practical Exam Center (PEC) – Practical Exams only
  • Agents – Assistance with application process within a country
