Recertification Overview

Once you become certified, it's important to maintain your credentials. The table below explains how you can renew your certification, either by application or by examination. See individual program links for more information about each.

^*Both ASNT NDT Level III and ACCP Professional Level III renewal by application requires certificate holders to earn 25 points during their current five-year period for NDT-related activities.

† ACCP Level II and Level III require renewal by exam every other certification period (10 years), prior to the expiration date of the current certification.
