AWS Certified Welding Inspectors Renewal
The American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) has an agreement with the American Welding Society (AWS) to provide access for AWS Certified Welding Inspectors (CWIs) and Senior Certified Welding Inspectors (SCWIs) to visual testing (VT) certification under the provisions of the ASNT Central Certification Program (ACCP). The purpose of this agreement is to facilitate companies’ and individuals’ compliance with current and anticipated personnel qualification requirements for Visual Testing.
ACCP provides VT certification in accordance with ASNT Recommended Practice No. SNT-TC-1A. It is the most widely referenced NDT program document and is widely specified in codes and standards, most notably by ASME. As a result of this broad recognition, the ACCP certificate provides its holder with access to work in accordance with many generally required codes and standards.

Required Documentation for Verification of Qualifications
Do not begin your application until you have reviewed and completed all required documentation.
You must complete and save all documents to be uploaded during the application process. Failure to upload the required documentation may result in your certification application being delayed or denied.
Once you begin the online application it must be completed all the way through. You will not be able to save and return to finish it. The application process will time out after 15 minutes of inactivity.
We offer a service where the initial review of your application can be expedited for a fee of $125. If selected, your application will be reviewed within two business days. You can select this option during the payment portion of the online application process. Expedited review is only available when using the online application and only if you choose to make payment immediately by credit card.
