Digital Badges

When you receive your badge by email, a unique URL is provided that links to your certification information. For further verification, visit the ASNT certificate holders directory or contact us by email at certification@asnt.org or phone at 1-614-274-6003.

No, digital badges are complimentary for certificate holders who earn and maintain an ASNT certification.

When a certification expires, the digital badge is automatically grayed out and displays “Expired.” Once renewed/recertified, the badge will show the updated status and date.

As you approach your certification expiration date, you will receive several reminder emails in advance. Visit the Recertification page for more information on maintaining credentials.

With the implementation of digital badges, ASNT no longer offers hard copy certificates by mail. Generate a PDF certificate or wallet card by opening your badge via your unique link or BadgetCert Portfolio. (ISQ certificate holders do not receive a certificate or wallet card.)

For security purposes, you must contact ASNT at certification@asnt.org to update your name. If you created a BadgeCert account, you have the option to add an alternate email address or change your employer information, professional title, or other information on your BadgeCert profile by using the "Edit Profile" feature. Please note that this information is not connected to ASNT: you will need to also update your information in your MyASNT profile to continue receiving communications from ASNT to your updated contact information.

A BadgeCert Portfolio helps manage your digital badges, download certificates/wallet cards, and update other profile information.

BadgeCert’s platform enables organizations to recognize their stakeholders’ accomplishments with dynamic digital badges. BadgeCert’s 100% verifiable badges are embedded with qualifying information that details the nature of an earner’s accomplishment and once received, earners can share them with others (particularly employers, customers, or colleagues) by putting them directly on their social media profiles, corporate databases, resumes, or email signatures.
