Be sure to submit your renewal application and payment at least 60 days before your expiration date.
Simplify Multiple Renewals by Equalizing Your Certifications
If you hold ASNT NDT Level III certifications for multiple methods, you can make it easier to keep track of them by renewing them all at once.
Equalizing your certifications enables you to renew any ASNT NDT Level III certificates when your earliest certificate expires.
When renewing your NDT Level III certification, enter your experience and points, choose to equalize other methods, and pay the fee for those methods along with the application fee. All equalized certificates will have the same expiration date.

You don’t have to retake the Level III Basic exam—just the relevant method exams—as long as you hold at least one valid ASNT NDT Level III certificate at the time of examination.
